The singer, 31 , hasn’t yet shared her secret to her transformation, but experts have now claimed she’s been using intermittent fasting techniques.
TV diet expert Dr Michael Mosley insists the star has been practising a form of fasting which goes by the name time-restricted feeding.
The creator of the 5:2 diet and Fast800 lifestyle plan, told The Sun that Adele eats on a scheduled basis, and has three meals during a restricted time frame.
The 16:8 diet allows you to eat for eight hours of the day, while fasting for the remaining 16 hours.
Individuals undergoing a weight loss journey by following the plan are only allowed to drink water, tea and coffee during the 16 hour fasting period.
As well as that, food experts suggest dieters opt for lean meat, eggs, dairy, vegetables, nuts and beans each day during their eight hour window.
In order to see fast results, dieters are encouraged to stay away from high processed food, sugar and fast food.
Studies say the manageable diet will help shed the pounds without causing you to starve yourself.
As well as maximising weight loss, Dr Mosley also believes the diet will have had huge benefits for Adele’s mental health.
He said: “The Mediterranean-style diet has a critical role to play in healthy living; it is a very strong foundation for keeping your brain young and for your happiness.
“In fact gut health has an important link to mental health as your gut bacteria also produces a range of chemicals that influence your brain, from ‘feel good’ hormones like serotonin to hunger hormones.”
As well as reportedly adapting the 16:8 diet, the singer is also taking further steps to loose more weight.
When Adele first found fame in 2008, she started her day with a fag and PG Tips with two sugars.
But the singer has completely transformed not only her body, but also her lifestyle, since her divorce from Simon Konecki.
Whereas she once filled up on her beloved Jammie Dodgers and Tesco Chocolate Indulgence cake, Adele has now boldly turned her back on junk food and reportedly embraced the Sirtfood Diet.
The plan sees slimmers pack their plates with plant-based foods like strawberries, blueberries, apples, citrus fruits, walnuts, parsley, kale, capers, soy, turmeric and dark chocolate.
The foods are known as sirtuin activators, and are said to turn on the fat-burning gene and regulate the appetite in the process.
Green tea and cocoa powder are also on the menu, along with red wine and cheese.
The diet is notoriously gruelling to start, with followers limited to 1,000 calories a day consisting of three green smoothies and one small meal.
Between days four to seven the calorie limit rises to 1,500 calories made up from two green smoothies and two small meals.
And the 14-day maintenance phase allows three Sirtfood-based meals with one green smoothie.
Dishing on Adele’s regime, her former personal trainer Camila Goodis – told the Daily Mail: “She’s working out but I think 90 per cent of it is diet.
“It’s a good diet to shed the weight. The first week is intense, green juices and only 1,000 calories,” she said.
And defending Adele’s new slimline look, the trainer to the stars added: “She doesn’t look too thin – she looks amazing.”
Whatever she’s doing, there’s no denying that she looks absolutely incredible.
