The Chase star stunned viewers with her dramatic weight loss during an appearance on Thursday’s This Morning, a day after she became the fifth star to leave I’m A Celebrity.
Even stand-in host Rochelle Humes told her she needed a ‘good pizza and some chips’.
Anne has spent the last three weeks living on a very basic diet- but said her trim physique was mostly down to her body rejecting the rice and beans on offer.
“The weight is falling off everybody,” commented Phillip Schofield.
“The trouble is really that there’s no salt and about a week ago my digestive system just said to me, ‘I’m sorry I’m not having any more rice without beans.’
“I’ll eat beans, I’ll eat rice with beans, but I’m having no more rice because it’s just gong straight through,” she candidly revealed.
Her honesty left Phil and Rochelle howling with laughter.
While she last three weeks in the jungle, Anne, 60, said she almost left on the first day but producers managed to talk her out of it.
Speaking to Dec Donnelly and Holly Willoughby in her exit interview, Anne said she was told to come back in a few hours after having time to think about her decision.
She revealed: “I felt like we were walking in to hell and we got to Snake Rock and I couldn’t process it, the reality hit me and I was like ‘what have I done’.
“I went into the Bush Telegraph the next morning and said ‘I quit’ and they said ‘come back in a few hours’. I was a zombie in Snake Rock for the first 24 hours.”
She added: “I could not have done it with out ten other fantastic people, they are so kind.”
