The battle between two legendary retired boxers: Mike Tyson, 54, and Roy Jones Jr, 51, is now just days away.

Billed as an eight-round exhibition, both fighters have more than insinuated that they will be heading into the the ring on Saturday at Staples Center in Los Angeles to win. 

And being that this is Iron Mike’s first bout in 15-years, the former undisputed heavyweight champion has not only had to shed the rust of retirement, but also the 100 lbs of excess weight that had built up from overeating and a non-existent workout routine. 

A lot less Mike: Mike Tyson, 54, revealed he lost 100 lbs in preparation for his exhibition charity fight against fellow all-time boxing great Roy Jones Jr.

Stripping down: During the interview, Tyson began to take off his t-shirt to show Holmes the end result of all his hard work he put in to fight Jones, a former four-division champion

The Brooklyn, New York native made the revelation about his incredible weight loss during an interview with T.J. Holmes on Good Morning America.

Tyson shared that he was inspired to get get back into the ring when he saw how NFL Hall of Fame wide-receiver, Jerry Rice, was able to stay in shape and showcase some of the speed and agility he possessed during his legendary career as man in his late 50s.

When asked about how difficult it was to get into shape compared to when he was in his boxing prime in the 1980s and early 90s, Tyson was honest in his assessment. 

‘It was very difficult but only for one particular reason: I had to lose 100 lbs. But other than that I’ve always done this my whole career,’ he confessed.

‘I became a vegan. My wife told me to get on a treadmill. So I went from 15 minutes on the treadmill and [the prcess] ended at two hours. I kept going to the gym and watching my diet and I’m beautiful.’

Real fight or dance? The former undisputed heavyweight champion, again, insinuated that there would be real action during his fight with Jones: ‘I don’t know how to dance’

It’s at this point that Tyson began to take off his t-shirt to show Holmes the end result of all his hard work he put in to fight Jones, a former four-division champion.

‘This is what I’m talkie about homie. Brother Holmes, this is where it’s at man, this is where it’s at,’ he declared with pride while flexing both of his biceps.

Iron Mike, again, gave the impression that there would be real action during the match when Holmes asked if this was going to be a real fight or two opponents dancing around each other?    

‘Listen, I don’t know how to dance. I don’t even know how to dance in a disco,’ he shot back with a serious tone.

The Mike Tyson and Roy Jones Jr. bout, for charity, will be available on-demand on Saturday, November 28, for $49.99.
